Opmerkingen

The P#29 is one of the earlier ABNC-printed issues for Banco de México, which had only been established in 1925 as the country's sole bank of issue — a deliberate move to consolidate currency authority after decades of competing regional bank emissions during and after the Revolution. By 1936, the institution was still relatively young and relied heavily on foreign security printers rather than domestic production.

Serial numbering on this series is known to run inconsistently across print batches, occasionally creating apparent gaps that have misled collectors into speculating about unissued runs. No confirmed unissued stock has been documented for this denomination.
