| 备注 |
Banco de Barranquilla was a departmental bank operating out of Colombia's principal Caribbean port, and its notes circulated primarily within the Atlántico region during a period when Colombia's monetary system was fragmenting under the pressures of the Thousand Days' War, which broke out in October 1899. Private and regional banks were left to manage their own note issues as the national government lost effective fiscal control.
Pick S253 falls within the chartered private bank series that Colombian catalogers have long found difficult to sequence precisely — surviving specimens are scarce enough that confirmed circulation examples are rarely documented in trade.
