备注

Banco de Pamplona was one of Colombia's regional private banks authorized under the banking legislation of 1880, which briefly opened the field to provincial institutions before the national government moved to consolidate monetary authority. The bank operated out of Norte de Santander — a department better known for cacao and coffee commerce than for banking infrastructure — and its note issues were correspondingly modest in circulation geography.

Bradbury, Wilkinson's involvement is the technically interesting element here. Their engraved work for South American regional issuers in this period was generally of higher quality than the notes themselves ever demanded, given the limited circulation zones involved.
