| Obverse description | The Chilean national arms are displayed at center, comprising a quartered shield bearing a five-pointed star, supported on the left by a standing huemul and on the right by a condor with spread wings, both wearing crowns. Above the shield is a plumed crest of three ostrich feathers. Decorative scrollwork and laurel branches frame the base of the composition.
