背面描述 The reverse is printed in blue on plain paper, dominated by the crowned Montenegrin state coat of arms at centre, a double-headed eagle rendered in fine engraved style. The word КРАЉЕВИНА arches across the top in bold Cyrillic within ornamental guilloche borders, flanked by the denomination numeral 5 in each corner, while ЦРНА ГОРА flanks the arms horizontally and ПЕТ ПЕРПЕРА appears centrally across the eagle. A legal basis inscription in smaller text occupies the lower portion of the note.

备注

Montenegro printed its own currency domestically — an unusual arrangement for a small Balkan state in this period, when most comparable governments contracted work to established European security printers. The Glavna Državna Blagajna had been issuing perpera notes since 1912, and this 1914 issue appeared as the country was about to be consumed by the First World War. Within two years, Austro-Hungarian occupation forces had effectively ended the Montenegrin state apparatus entirely.

Domestic printing at Cetinje meant limited technical resources, and the perpera notes from this series are known for uneven ink distribution and inconsistent sheet registration.
