Obverse description Central field features a plain circular boss or plug where the customary center hole would appear, flanked on either side by two sprays of stylized fern or pine fronds radiating outward symmetrically. A heraldic rose blossom is positioned above the central boss. The date is divided across the lower portion of the field, with '19' to the left and '41' to the right of the frond stems, which are joined at the base by an ornamental knot or tie. The overall design is deeply struck with a rustic, utilitarian aesthetic characteristic of Finnish wartime coinage.
