Beschrijving voorzijde Printed in purple-brown on cream paper, the obverse is dominated by a large central guilloche panel bearing the denomination numeral '5' in bold on both left and right sides, flanked by ornate scroll-work vignettes within oval frames. The issuing authority inscription appears across the top, with the denomination in Hungarian set in large display typeface at centre, and a three-line legal tender and anti-counterfeiting warning in smaller text below. The overall design consists of a continuous guilloche border framing the central field, with fine lathe-work underprint throughout.

Beschrijving keerzijde Printed in purple-brown on cream paper, the reverse carries a simpler layout centred on the large denomination text in Hungarian, with the issuing authority name arched above in two lines within a guilloche-bordered panel. Ornate scroll vignettes occupy the upper corners and a horizontal band of fine guilloche underprint runs along the top and bottom margins. The year '1944' is printed in a central banner at the foot of the design, flanked by small asterisk ornaments.
