Obverse description The Hungarian royal coat of arms occupies the center of the field, depicting the traditional quartered shield with horizontal barry stripes on the dexter side and the patriarchal double cross on a mount on the sinister side, surmounted by the Holy Crown of Saint Stephen. The shield is flanked by crossed branches — an oak branch to the left and an olive branch to the right — rendered in fine relief. The date '1938' appears in the lower field flanking the shield, with the mint mark 'BP' incuse below the shield. The denomination '5 PENGŐ' is inscribed in large letters along the lower arc, while the circular legend 'MAGYAR KIRÁLYSÁG' runs along the upper periphery. The entire design is bordered by a continuous inner beaded rim.
