| 裏面の説明 | Central device comprising the oval crowned arms of the Prince-Bishopric of Liège — the perron of Liège combined with the Bavarian lozengy field — set within an ornate mantle or cartouche surmounted by a bishop's mitre. Four decorative cross-shaped ornaments divide the surrounding Latin legend EP·ET·PRI·L·DUX·B·M·F·C·L·H·, which records Jean-Théodore's titles as Prince-Bishop and Duke. The reverse field is plain and the coin exhibits a toothed border characteristic of milled coinage of the period. |
