| Obverse description | Central device featuring the quartered coat of arms of Jean-Théodore of Bavaria, combining the arms of Bavaria and the ecclesiastical arms of the Prince-Bishopric of Liège, surmounted by a crowned helm with mantling. The shield is flanked by ornate foliate supporters. The date 1751 appears in the lower portion of the field, within the circular Latin legend. The inscription reads I·THEOD·CAR·D·G·BAV·D· distributed around the periphery, referencing the prince-bishop's titles. |

| Reverse description | Central device comprising the oval crowned arms of the Prince-Bishopric of Liège — the perron of Liège combined with the Bavarian lozengy field — set within an ornate mantle or cartouche surmounted by a bishop's mitre. Four decorative cross-shaped ornaments divide the surrounding Latin legend EP·ET·PRI·L·DUX·B·M·F·C·L·H·, which records Jean-Théodore's titles as Prince-Bishop and Duke. The reverse field is plain and the coin exhibits a toothed border characteristic of milled coinage of the period. |
