| 正面描述 | Central field features the combined arms of the United Principalities of Wallachia and Moldavia, depicting a quartered shield supported by two figures, surmounted by a princely crown. The shield bears the emblematic eagle of Wallachia and the aurochs head of Moldavia. A beaded border frames the design, with the Latin legend arcing along the upper periphery and the date 1860 appearing in the lower field flanked by floral ornaments. |

The 1860 Romanian pattern issues were struck in anticipation of a unified national coinage following the 1859 election of Alexandru Ioan Cuza as ruler of both Wallachia and Moldavia — a political union the great powers had permitted only grudgingly, and for which no monetary infrastructure yet existed. Cuza's government explored multiple denominations and compositions before Romania's coinage system was formalized, meaning most 1860 patterns never advanced to circulation strikes.
MBR#184 is among the rarer documented pattern references from this transitional period.
