The tughra is presented without a rosette to its right. The coin is bordered by a beaded inner circle, with the flat field showing the typical granular surface of billon coinage. | Descrizione del rovescio | Central field bears a two-part Arabic inscription arranged within a divided rectangular cartouche: the upper register reading 'ضرب في اسلامبول' (Struck in Istanbul) and the lower register displaying the regnal year '١١٧١' (AH 1171). The regnal year suffix (indicating the year of reign) appears above the cartouche. The whole design is enclosed within a beaded border. The coin is holed at approximately 9 o'clock. |
