| Obverse description | Central field features a raised tamgha (dynastic emblem) enclosed within a bold octagonal geometric frame, the interior of the tamgha filled with a finely executed crosshatched or granular diaper pattern. The octagon is set within a plain circular border, with the entire design displaying the characteristic flat, bold relief typical of provincial Ottoman copper coinage. No legend appears on this face. |

| Reverse description | Three lines of bold raised Arabic script occupy the central field, reading the mint name and regnal formula, with the AH date 1231 inscribed in large Arabic-Eastern numerals in the lower exergue. The overall composition is typical of provincial Baghdad mint copper issues of the early nineteenth century. |
