| Obverse description | Central field dominated by the elaborate calligraphic tughra of Sultan Abdülhamid II, rendered in fine relief with characteristic interlocking loops, vertical strokes, and sweeping baseline. A floral spray motif, resembling a rose or tulip branch, appears to the upper right of the tughra. The regnal year numeral appears below the tughra in Arabic script. The coin is bordered by a fine beaded inner circle near the rim. |
