Obverse description Central field bears the large crowned royal cypher of King Christian X, formed by an interlaced C and X, surmounted by an elaborate Danish royal crown rendered in fine detail. The four-digit date is divided by the cypher, with the first two numerals to the left and the last two to the right. The circular legend KONGE AF DANMARK arcs around the upper periphery. At the base of the field, below the cypher, appear the mint master's initials N and S separated by a heart-shaped mint mark, identifying the Copenhagen Mint.
