Obverse description	Black letterpress print with red and green overstamps on paper. The upper portion bears a vignette of Daikoku, the god of wealth, shown full-length facing half-left, standing atop two rice bales, holding the Uchide-no-kozuchi (magic mallet) in his right hand and clutching a large bag over his back with his left, the figure surrounded by Takarazukushi auspicious treasure motifs; decorative motifs occupy the lower register. A fundō-shaped (weight-form) green stamp appears at the top, with a red circular overstamp applied to the centre of the note.

Reverse description	Black letterpress print. A pair of birds occupies the upper register, below which five Hōju sacred jewels are arranged. The centre of the note carries a vertical denomination inscription in Chinese regular script (kaisho), flanked on either side by vertical text in Chinese seal script (tensho). The lower register presents a turtle motif set within a Seigaiha (overlapping wave scales) border.
