| Obverse description | The national emblem of the Mongolian People's Republic (1960–1992 type) is depicted in the central field, comprising a soyombo symbol above a landscape with mountains and a horse, framed by sheaves of grain and a cogwheel at the base, with a ribbon tied at the bottom.
