| Obverse description | Central field bears four Chinese ideograms arranged to be read top to bottom and right to left, with a raised dot at the centre. The central inscription is encircled by a beaded inner border and surrounded by additional Chinese ideograms reading the reign title and denomination. An Arabic legend appears in the lower portion of the coin, giving the mint name, denomination in mithqals, and the Hijri date 1328. The overall design is framed by a decorative floral and scrollwork border at the rim. |
