An outer circular legend in Chinese characters surrounds the central motif, with an Arabic inscription below reading the denomination and mint date. The legends collectively identify the issuing authority, reign title (Xuantong), denomination (5 Qian / 5 Mithqal), and the Kashgar Mint, with the Hijri year 1327 or 1328 also noted in Arabic numerals. |
