| Obverse description | Central field bears four Chinese ideograms arranged in a cruciform pattern reading top to bottom and right to left, with a small six-pointed star at the centre. An outer ring of additional Chinese ideograms encircles the central group, and an Arabic legend appears in the lower portion of the coin. The overall design reflects the bilingual administrative character of the Xinjiang provincial coinage issued under the Xuantong Emperor. |
