Obverse description Central round hole surrounded by a wreath of olive branches with finely detailed leaves, the wreath encircling the hole within the plain field. The trilingual country name legend reads in Latin 'PALESTINE' across the upper arc, in Hebrew 'פלשתינה (א״י)' along the left arc, and in Arabic 'فلسطين' along the right arc, all separated by raised dots. The date appears in Western numerals '1939' and in Eastern Arabic numerals '١٩٣٩' at the base, below the wreath. The entire design is framed by a continuous beaded border running along the outer rim.
