The Western Volunteer Army — a German-backed anti-Bolshevik force operating in the Baltic in 1919 under Pavel Bermondt-Avalov — issued its own currency in marok, pegged nominally to the German mark, during its brief and ultimately disastrous campaign to take Riga. The army was driven out by Latvian and Estonian forces by late November 1919, and the notes became worthless within weeks of issue.

The "Printed: 30.04.1945" date in the catalog data is almost certainly a data entry error and should not be taken as a reprinting date.
