Obverse description Central field bears the Estonian national coat of arms: a shield charged with three passant blue lions arranged vertically, flanked on either side by oak branches with acorns rendered in high relief. The entire device is framed within a beaded inner border, with no surrounding legend on this face, giving the heraldic motif a bold and uncluttered presentation characteristic of early Estonian coinage.
