Obverse description Bare-headed right-facing effigy of King Wilhelm II of Württemberg, depicted with a full beard and mustache in a naturalistic portrait style. The truncation of the bust is clean and unadorned. The encircling legend reads WILHELM II KOENIG VON WUERTTEMBERG, rendered in raised Latin characters along the inner border of beaded dentils. The mint mark F appears in the lower field beneath the bust. The portrait occupies the central field with considerable relief, characteristic of German Empire-era coinage.
