Obverse description Unadorned right-facing bust of Kaiser Wilhelm II, Emperor of Germany and King of Prussia, rendered in high relief with finely detailed hair and characteristic upturned moustache. The effigy occupies the central field with no drapery or regalia, presented in a plain civilian style. The circular legend reads WILHELM II DEUTSCHER KAISER KÖNIG V. PREUSSEN, running from lower left to lower right around the portrait. The mint mark A appears in small characters at the base of the bust, identifying the Berlin Mint. The overall style reflects the sober, imperial portraiture conventions of early twentieth-century German coinage.
