| Obverse description | Bare-headed right-facing effigy of Kaiser Wilhelm I occupying the central field, rendered in high relief with finely detailed portraiture showing the emperor's characteristic close-cropped hair, prominent sideburns, and aged features. The truncation of the bust is unadorned. A circular legend in Latin script runs along the periphery, bounded by an inner beaded border and an outer raised rim. The mint mark 'B' (Hanover) appears at the base of the portrait below the truncation. |
