Obverse description Right-facing bare-headed effigy of Friedrich August III, King of Saxony, rendered in high relief with fine detail to the hair, sideburns, and moustache. The truncation of the neck is plain and unadorned. The encircling legend reads FRIEDRICH AUGUST KÖNIG V. SACHSEN, separated at the base by the mint mark E for Muldenhütten. The border is composed of a fine inner denticular ring.
