| Obverse description | Bare-headed effigy of Friedrich, Prince of Waldeck and Pyrmont, in left-facing profile, rendered in high relief with fine detail to the hair and a short moustache. The truncation of the bust is smooth and unadorned. The encircling legend reads FRIEDRICH FÜRST ZU WALDECK UND PYRMONT, separated from the field by a continuous beaded border. The mint mark 'A' (Berlin) appears at the base of the truncation. |
