| 备注 |
Zeche Vereinigte Präsident was one of the Ruhr's mid-tier collieries, and like dozens of similar operations it resorted to issuing its own emergency scrip during the First World War when small-denomination coinage effectively vanished from circulation. The German government's wartime metal requisitions drained copper and nickel from everyday commerce, forcing municipalities, businesses, and industrial concerns alike to fill the gap with paper Notgeld.
Mine-issued scrip of this type was redeemable only within the company's own economic orbit — the company store, the housing office, the canteen. Acceptance beyond the colliery's immediate community was never guaranteed.
