Opis awersu	Cream paper ground with a light guilloche underprint incorporating architectural vignettes of city towers at the left and right margins. The denomination numeral '5' is overprinted in large red figures at centre, superimposed by Gothic blackletter text stating the issuing authority and value obligation, with the issuing line dated 9. November 1918 and a manuscript signature below. The circular ink stamp of the Stadtmagistrat Holzminden bearing a city gate motif is applied at lower left; two rectangular violet cancellation stamps reading 'UNGÜLTIG' within Greek-key borders appear at left and right, accompanied by a punch-hole cancellation at right centre.
