A double-headed imperial eagle underprint occupies the centre, over which the denomination "Fünf Mark" is printed in large Gothic blackletter script. The issuing authority title appears at the top in Fraktur type, a serial number in red is positioned at the left, and the redemption text with date and magistrate's facsimile signatures appears in the lower half, with the printer's imprint at the foot. |
