The issuer's name KREIS MOSBACH appears in bold letterpress at the top of the cartouche, below which the denomination FÜNF MARK is printed in large bold Gothic type, flanked left and right by circular value medallions each bearing the numeral 5 over MARK. A red typeset serial number is placed at the upper centre, and the full text of the legal tender clause, date MOSBACH, 15. November 1918, the authority line Kreis-Ausschuß, and two manuscript signatures appear within the cartouche body, all surrounded by an elaborate geometric engine-turned border pattern. |
