| Obverse description | Green guilloche underprint covers the entire face, framed by a geometric diamond-and-crosshatch border with numeral '5' in each corner medallion. The issuer's title is set in ornate blackletter script at the top, above the large denomination inscription 'Fünf Mark' in elaborate gothic lettering occupying the central field. Below, a text block states the redemption terms and issue date of 15 November 1918, beneath which three manuscript signatures appear above their respective printed titles: Stadtschultheiß, Bürgerausschußobmann, and Stadtpfleger, accompanied by an embossed municipal seal at lower left. |
