正面描述	A yellow-ochre guilloche underprint covers the entire field, enclosed by a green letterpress border of repeating circular and bar ornaments. The city arms of Düren — an eagle above a lion passant — appear in the upper-left and upper-right corners, with a smaller arms vignette centred below the principal legal text; the denomination numeral "5" is set within a circle at the top centre above the bold Gothic inscription "FÜNF MARK". The issue date "Düren, den 18. Oktober 1918" appears at lower left, a red serial number at centre bottom, and the manuscript signature of the Oberbürgermeister at lower right.
