Opis awersu	Central vignette shows an ornate urn or vessel within an elaborate arabesque cartouche, surrounded by fine guilloche borderwork in brown on a light ground. The Syrian national arms — an eagle with shield bearing three red stars — appears at right, with Arabic inscriptions of the bank name and denomination arranged above and below the central device. A serial number appears twice, with date and two signatures below the central cartouche.

Opis rewersu	Central intaglio vignette of the Citadel of Aleppo, rendered in fine line engraving with architectural detail of the fortress gateway and surrounding walls. The bank name appears in French across the top register, with denomination numerals at upper left and right, and the French denomination legend along the lower margin. A plain circular panel at right likely served as a watermark viewing area.
