Reverse description Winged goddess Nike, depicted in three-quarter view, driving a fast-moving biga (two-horse chariot) to the left. The horses are shown at full gallop with forelegs raised, rendered in dynamic relief. A Greek legend reading ΒΑΣΙΛΙΣΣΑΣ appears in the upper field and ΦΙΣΤΙΔΟΣ in the lower exergue, identifying this issue in the name of Queen Philistis, consort of Hieron II of Syracuse.
