Obverse description The obverse features the Vytis, the historic Lithuanian equestrian knight, depicted in bold relief as an armored warrior on a galloping horse facing right, brandishing an unsheathed sword raised above his head. A decorative shield bearing the double cross emblem of Lithuania is visible on the horse's flank. Below the horse, the stylized Columns of Gediminas castle symbol is centered in the lower field, flanked by two small oak leaf sprigs. The circular legend LIETUVOS RESPUBLIKA arcs around the upper periphery, with the date 1925 inscribed at the bottom, all within a beaded border.

Reverse description The reverse displays the large numeral '5' prominently at the top center of the field, below which the denomination inscription PENKI LITAI is arranged in two lines. The central design is framed by an elegant wreath of stylized floral and foliate branches, incorporating tulip buds and bellflower blossoms rising symmetrically on either side and tied at the base with a decorative ribbon bow. The composition is enclosed within a beaded border consistent with the obverse, lending a harmonious Art Deco aesthetic to the overall design.
