Additional information

Israel's tenth anniversary commemorative was issued in 1958 under a program that also produced a gold variant, making this one of the earliest multi-metal commemorative pairings in Israeli coinage history. The Bank of Israel had only been established in 1954, meaning this issue came just four years into the institution's own existence.

Struck at the Utrecht Mint in the Netherlands — Israel lacking domestic minting capacity at the time.
