Reverse description The arms of the House of Savoy prominently displayed at centre: a quartered shield bearing the white cross on red field, supported by a winged lion crest above and flanked by elaborate foliate mantling. The dynastic motto FERT appears across the shield on a ribbon. The encircling legend REGNO D'ITALIA runs along the upper field, with the date 1903 at lower left and the denomination L. 5 at lower right, separated by small floral ornaments. A dotted inner border frames the central armorial composition.
