| Opmerkingen |
Bradbury Wilkinson produced several Turkish issues during the 1950s, and this note falls within the Second Emission series — a period when the Central Bank was consolidating its printing relationships with established British security printers rather than developing domestic capacity. The blue reverse variant is distinguished from earlier printings of the same denomination within the series, reflecting a deliberate color change rather than a separate emission entirely.
P#154 is reasonably scarce in circulated grades due to the relatively low purchasing power of 5 Lira by the early 1950s, which meant heavy everyday use.
