备注

The P#174 belongs to Turkey's fifth emission series, which ran through the 1960s under the Central Bank's successive governor tenures. The 5 Lira denomination during this period had a rough existence in circulation — the Turkish lira was under sustained inflationary pressure throughout the decade, and low-denomination notes were handled heavily and discarded quickly, making genuinely uncirculated survivors harder to source than the catalog frequency suggests.

Turkey's banknote printing at this time was handled domestically by the Devlet Matbaası, a shift from earlier reliance on foreign security printers like De La Rue.
