Four symmetrical floral and foliate sprays, featuring buds and leaves, radiate outward from between the points of the diamond to fill the intervening spaces. The entire design is enclosed within a rope or chain-style beaded border near the rim, imparting an ornate, decorative character consistent with the work of engraver Luigi Giorgi. |
