Reverse description Vertically oriented reverse in green and brown tones with a dense interlaced guilloche border in dark blue-grey enclosing the entire field. The numeral "5" is printed in the upper central area above the Bulgarian state coat of arms, rendered in brown intaglio in the middle of the note. An oval cartouche at the lower centre contains the forgery warning text in Cyrillic. The word "ПЕТЪ" appears in horizontal panels at both the top and bottom edges.
Reverse lettering Петъ Лева За подправка виновнитѣ се наказватъ съгласно §§ 183 и 191 отъ наказ. законъ.
