| Obverse description | The Bulgarian state coat of arms is placed centrally at the upper portion of the note, within a circular vignette, surrounded by an elaborate multicolour guilloche underprint in teal, red and gold with folk-embroidery motifs forming the border. The denomination numeral '5' appears in large outline figures at both left and right margins, with the bank title in Cyrillic script on a central ribbon cartouche and the bearer clause with place and date in a subordinate panel below. Two manuscript signatures appear at the foot, inscribed beneath the titles Управитель (Governor) and Касиер (Cashier). |
