Reverse description Central denomination numeral '5' in large characters occupies the field, flanked above by the Greek word ΟΒΟΛΟΣ (Obol) and below by ΛΕΠΤΑ (Lepta), together forming the coin's face value designation. The entire central device is framed by a wreath of olive branches tied at the base with a ribbon bow, a classically inspired motif emblematic of Greek coinage. The mint mark 'B' (for Strasbourg, Strasbourg Mint) appears in the lower exergual area beneath the wreath. A finely executed toothed border runs along the full circumference of the coin.
