| Aanvullende informatie |
Georgia applied for EU membership in March 2022, days after Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, and received candidate status in December 2023 — the political backdrop that makes this issue coherent. The coin was struck before accession negotiations had formally opened, placing it in an unusual position: commemorating a process still very much in motion at the time of minting.
