A circular legend surrounds the design, reading TÜRKIYE CUMHURIYETI at the top and KADININ SÜSÜ KÜLTÜR VE ERDEM OLMALIDIR along the lower periphery, the latter being a Turkish proverb meaning 'A woman's ornament should be culture and virtue'. |
