| Reverse description | The central design is composed of a stylised Glagolitic letter S representing Senj, whose upper terminal transforms into a depiction of an open Missal bearing a cross, commemorating the 500th anniversary of the printing of the Senj Glagolitic Missal; the year 1494 appears in Arabic numerals to the right of the Missal and in Glagolitic numerals to the left. The lower arc of the letter S resolves into a silhouette of the Nehaj Fortress, with the abbreviated year of minting ('94.) inscribed to the right and the engraver's initials MD to the left.
