Alongside the edge, it is written ZA NEZAVISNU DRŽAVU HRVATSKU. Also, both on the left and the right side of the word HRVATSKU, there is one leaf. |

| Reverse description | Alongside the whole edge is Croatian interlace with three-ribbon pattern. In the central part of the coin is the face value of the coin (5), word KUNA, letter U and at the bottom the year of minting (1934). There is a burning bomb inside the letter U. |
