| 裏面の説明 | The reverse is printed entirely in a fine lathe-work guilloche underprint of pale grey-green tone. A large central medallion of intricate engine-turned design occupies the middle of the note, surrounded by a star-shaped ornamental frame, with the word KRONOR repeated in bold letterpress to the left and right of the central roundel within a horizontal band. The entire field is filled with a dense geometric lattice pattern, with corner ornaments echoing the overall symmetrical composition. |

Wadstena Enskilda Bank was one of Sweden's provincial private banks operating under the enskilda bank system, which permitted note issue but tied liability directly to shareholders — a structure that made Swedish private banknotes generally more stable than their counterparts elsewhere in Europe. By 1877, the system was already under pressure from Riksbank expansion, and most enskilda banks lost their note-issuing rights within a generation.
Wadstena itself, a small lakeside town in Östergötland, never developed the commercial weight to sustain a major banking operation. The bank folded before the century ended.
